The Cottage is in an enviable position in open countryside in the sought after village of Fremington, and within walking distance of the enchanting village of Reeth (nicknamed the Capital of Swaledale) with its shops, three pubs, post office, bakery, museum, ice cream parlour, National Park Centre and the highly acclaimed Burgoyne Hotel & Restaurant. The hamlet of Grinton, which boasts an historic Church and a traditional pub serving meals, is close by. This quintessential Dales cottage has been sympathetically and professionally restored offering a very comfortable retreat. With beamed ceilings and an open fire, this charming cottage is full of character with Sky TV and a DVD player, ideal for a cosy night in, along with internet access. The delightful garden has picturesque views over the fields to Reeth and Calver Hill and, with table, chairs and gas barbecue, it is perfect for relaxing and al fresco dining. Walks and cycle rides begin straight from the door with a myriad of open country tracks and public footpaths waiting to be explored, along with all the delights of Swaledale and the rest of the Dales.

First floor: 2 double bedrooms - 1 with king size double bed, colour TV, two steps from hall to 1 smaller double bedroom. Contemporary fitted bathroom with bath and hand-held shower attachment, WC, basin and shaver point.

Facilities: electric ceramic hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron/ironing board. Colour TVs in sitting room and master bedroom. Sky TV, DVD and radio/CD. Internet access. Telephone for incoming calls only. Logs and coal for the open fire (which heats the radiators and hot water) provided. Economy seven storage heaters and hot water as backup with all electricity included in the rent. Bed linen, kitchen linen and towels provided. Enclosed garden with table, chairs and gas barbecue. The cottage was beautifully furnished and the bed linen was first class. It was good to have towels provided and they were of a very good quality. There was everything we needed plus the bonus of coal, logs and electricity included.
